Ornithomimus (meaning Bird Mimic) is an extinct genus of dinosaur in the family Tyrannosauridae. It lived in western North America from 76.5-65 MYA, existing for 11.5 million years. There are five known species, the type species, Ornithomimus Velox, a possibly invalid species, Ornithomimus Samueli, a third species, Ornithomimus Edmontonicus, the newest species, Ornithomimus Tenuis, and a species described as a tyrannosaur, Ornithomimus Grandis.
