Titanovenator (meaning Giant Hunter) is a monotypic genus of giant abelisaur that lived in Kenya during the Maastrichtian era, or from 72.1-65 MYA. It contains a single known species, Titanovenator Kenyaensis.
Size[]
Titanovenator was probably on average 36 feet in length, the same size as the average Tyrannosaurus. It might've been as tall as 15 feet, or 5 meters. Its weight was probably close to that of Tyrannosaurus, or from 5.5-7.5 tons. It might've reached over 8 tons.
Diet[]
Titanovenator probably ate any herbivore it could overpower. It would've ended up fighting for food against giants such as Carcharodontosaurus and Spinosaurus, with the latter being 8 tons heavier than the former.
